The most popular URL extensions are .com, at 49.31%, .net at 7.20%, .de at 6.64%, .org at 5.31% and the rest divided among .us, .mil, .gov and others.

The number one Search Engine is now Google, with approximately 70% of all searchers using this service. Google, www.google.com, now lists 3,307,998,700 web pages within its huge index. Google was also the number one recognized brand for 2003, according to Advertising Age. The most trafficked search sites were, in descending order, 1) yahoo.com, 2) msn.com, 3) goto.com, 4) altavista.com, and 5) ask.com.
