Server Central Announces Membership in Microsoft Service Provider Licensing Program

Server Central, Chicago’s premier provider of managed hosting, collocation, and bandwidth wholesaling, today announced it has accepted its invitation to become a Microsoft Certified Partner and join the Services Provider Licensing Agreement program.

The agreement allows Server Central to serve as a Microsoft Services Provider License Agent, or SPLA, and to rent licenses to customers on a flexible, month-to-month basis. Server Central plans to license Microsoft’s Windows® operating systems and Microsoft SQL Server® with prices under $15 per month, per license.

Mark Luptak, Vice President of Sales and Marketing, said he is pleased to welcome the Microsoft products to Server Central’s offerings: “Our SPLA agreement with Microsoft provides affordable access to a wide variety of powerful applications that would otherwise be unaffordable to many of our smaller customers.”
